John has been drawing and painting for over twenty five years and has taken studio courses with a number of accomplished landscape painters and designers. His paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Santa Monica, Sonoma, Santa Barbara, La Quinta, San Diego, and Carefee and are in permanent collections at institutions such as UCLA Hospital, UC Irvine and Arizona State University. John was born and raised in Los Angeles and went to university at UCSD, Stanford and the London School of Economics. He worked for years in international trade and economic development and lived in Europe for a decade. He currently resides in Arizona.
